This is a neat browser-based program that annotates Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPG/JPEG) pictures. As soon as you paste your JPG/JPEG picture in the input box, the program will add an annotation area on top of the picture. You can write any text in the annotation and use Unicode characters and emojis. Additionally, you can set its size and position, and adjust its color and font. This online program adds an annotation to JPG, JPEG, and JPEG2000 pictures. You can add a quick note, a short comment, or a lengthier explanation to any JPG photo. The annotation can contain characters, numbers, as well as special Unicode symbols such as arrows, checkmarks, boxes, and even emojis. The annotation content can be entered in the options in the multi-line annotation field. Once it's entered, it will immediately appear on the uploaded JPG. You can then adjust the size of the annotation box and its position. You can move the annotation box in the input preview using your mouse or use the precise position (x, y) and dimension (width, height) values in the options (both placement methods are synchronized). The content can be aligned within the box to the right, left, or center. You can then further customize the color palette of the annotation – you can set the annotation color and set the shade of the annotation box. To make the annotation box transparent, use the word "transparent", or move the alpha channel slider in the palette attached to the color option. Additionally, you can add a shadow to the annotation using the format "offset-x offset-y blur color" (for example, "1px 2px 4px black"). The annotation supports predefined and custom text fonts. You can find the most popular fonts in the list of typefaces and other fonts can be added using the custom URL option (to activate it, first select the custom mode in the fonts list). You can also specify the font size and line height in pixels, and optionally make the annotation bold or italic. Jpgabulous!

In this example, we add an annotation to a JPG photo with an interesting fact about jellyfish. It says that the human body is 60% water but the jellyfish are 98% water. We place this annotation in the bottom center of the photo, use a misty-rose color for it, and make the annotation box 60% semi-transparent. (Source: Pexels.)
In this example, we uploaded a JPEG picture of a hot cup of chocolate and added a comment about a new recipe idea that would improve its flavor. We wrote the idea about adding marshmallows in the text field in the options, set the letter color for this annotation to blue, and made the background transparent. We also added a white shadow for emphasis and linked to a creative Gloria Hallelujah font from Google Fonts. (Source: Pexels.)
In this example, we add a thought bubble to an image of a cat. We draw the bubble with Unicode characters in the options and place it right above the ginger cat's head. Now it's immediately clear that the cat wants to say "meow". (Source: Pexels.)
