Color Customization

Set this color as the eraser color. It can be transparent, black, white, red, and any other.

Set the shade distance in percent to delete additional color shades.
Show a preview in the form of a mask with deleted shades in black color and non-deleted shades in white color.

Enable this option if you want to blend the pixels at the deleted and non-deleted pixel boundary.

What Is a JPG Color Deleter?

This online tool deletes a specific color from a JPG/JPEG picture. You can upload any JPG photo to this tool and remove any color, making it invisible or opaque (for example, make it white, black, or green). By using three blocks of options, you can fine-tune the deleted color, its shades, and the line between the deleted colors and opaque colors. In the first block of options, you can specify the color to be deleted (or you can select it directly from the uploaded picture by clicking on it) and specify what color will be put in place of the deleted color (it can be transparent, white, black, or another hue). The second block of options allows you to configure the deleted shades. Here you can specify the distance in percent from the specified color that also should be deleted. For example, if you set the distance to 5%, the tool will remove the shades that are most 5% similar to the specified color. You can also view the deleted colors using a preview filter, which is the black-and-white mask. The deleted colors are painted in black and the opaque colors that are left are painted in white. The third block of options allows you to improve the picture boundaries after the color has been deleted. By enabling the boundary smoothing option and increasing the boundary width to 1, 2, or 3 pixels, the pixels on the edge of the opaque region will be blurred so that invisible and opaque regions are mixed together and look nice. What Is a JPG Color Deleter?

Delete Background Color

This example deletes the pink color (color hex code "#9b3c0") from a JPEG picture of a smartphone. The pink color is used as a background in the picture and once it's removed, transparency is left in its place. As a result, we get a transparent JPEG in the output with just the smartphone left. Delete Text Color

In this example, we delete the light gray letters that are placed on a decorative JPG photo. By clicking on one of the letters, we remove the light gray color along with shades approximately within 12% distance in the gray color spectrum. To enhance the result, we fine-tune the deletion boundary by adding a 1-pixel thick blurred line. Consequently, we obtain a JPG with a see-through text saying "BETTER" that can now be overlaid onto any other background in presentations or designs. (Source: Pexels.)

Delete Color of Starfish

In this example, we remove two starfish from a JPEG image, leaving only their outlines. Since the color of the starfish is not uniform, to select all their shades, we specify the color to be removed as "rgba(169, 106, 53, 255)" and the shade distance of 49%.
