This is a neat browser-based program that pixelates Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPG/JPEG) pictures. As soon as you paste your JPG/JPEG picture in the input area, the program will add a pixelation effect on top of it and display it in the output area. In the options, you can adjust the pixelation area, as well as set the pixel size. Created by mad scientists from team Browserling.

This online tool applies the pixel effect to a selected area of a JPEG photo or the entire JPEG. The size of the pixel effect can be adjusted in the options. For example, if it's set to 10 pixels, all pixels within an area of size 10 by 10 will get merged together and take one color that's the average shade of this area. The larger the pixel size, the more squared the output JPEG becomes. If you pixelate a specific area of a JPG file, then you can precisely adjust the size and position of the area by specifying the left and right coordinates, as well as the width and height parameters. You can also use the interactive selectors in the input area to visually fine-tune the pixelation area to your needs. Jpgabulous!

This example applies the pixelation effect with a pixel size of 20px to a selected rectangular region in a JPG picture of a smiling cat. The pixelation effect is limited only to the selected region, leaving the area outside of it unaffected. (Source: Pexels.)
In this example, the pixelation effect with a strength of 5px is applied to the entire JPEG graphic image file of a green fern. There are three ways to cover the entire image area. The first method is to stretch the pixelation area to cover the entire picture in the input preview. The second method is to set the coordinates to position (0, 0) and set the width and height parameters equal to the width and height of the image (in this case, 640 and 426). The third and easiest method is to clear all coordinate and dimension options, allowing the program to automatically match the entire image. (Source: Pexels.)
In this example, we apply a pixelation effect over the text in a JPEG photo. To make the text harder to read and hide what it says, we set the pixel size to 25. As a result, the selected area is divided into a grid of red and black pixels. If we wanted to completely hide the information in the area, then setting a larger pixel size value would make it unreadable. (Source: Pexels.)
